School Seal


The PMCHS logo signifies the institution's identity, history and aspirations. It is the embodiment of the DepEd mission in promoting quality, equitable, culture-based and complete basic education.

Porac Model Community High School
The school is formerly known as Tokwing High School derived from the last name of the person who engineered the resettlement area for the Mt. Pinatubo victims. The change into its present name was due to the request of the engineer and to recognize the real name of the place.

Laurel Wreath
The laurel was sacred to Apollo, a mythological figure. When gathered into a wreath and placed on the brow, its symbolizes excellence or achievement in the arts or sciences.

Blue, Red and Yellow
These are the colors of the Philippine flag and are symbol of our identity as a people which exhort us to be nationalistic (makabayan).

Mountain Range
The mountain range refers to the breath-taking and rustic character of the place, constatly reminding people to be environment-friendly (makakalikasan)

It also shows agriculture as being the primary livelihood of its inhabitants.
